Baby girl is 9 months old!!
She is doing so much! Here is a little bit of what has been going on with our honey bear:
Addison is 27 inches long and 14.65 lbs. She didn't gain much weight in the last 3 months but she eats a ton! Which is why the doctor really isn't concerned about the weight gain. He said that she is just on the petite side and to keep making sure that she is eating as much as she wants. We've been dealing with some allergies since moving to TX so the 3 of us have had some minor colds. She really hates to have her snot sucked out but she doesn't cry about it anymore.
She can sit up perfectly and doesn't tip at all. She still loves to stand against everything but hasn't had the desire to let go and try to stand on her own yet. She loves to eat solid food. Her favorites are: oatmeal with apples and spinach, peaches that MeMaw canned, cooked apples, bananas, sweet potato, cooked carrots, smashed peas, cooked butternut squash, and spaghetti squash. She does NOT like avocado. Mommy has tried it over and over again but she still doesn't like it. She loves her crackers and puffs and they have really come in handy keeping her satisfied and occupied during some of the teen's games and concerts.
We've celebrated 2 holidays. We had a Fall Fest at our church and Mommy, Daddy and Addison dressed up. Addison was the Cat in the Hat. She had a black and white top with a red bow and a black tutu. She also kept a red and white striped hat on almost all night. Mommy and Daddy wore red shirts that said "Thing Dad" and "Thing Mom" with "thing" masks. We had a lot of fun. We also flew to NC to visit MeMaw and PaPaw twice. One of those times was for Thanksgiving. We had a great time and baby girl had quite the feast. We are excited to go to NC and PA for Christmas vacation soon. We already have some great pictures of Addison all dressed up. Too bad it won't be cold up there so no White Christmas!
